It’s hard to tinker on your list of bookmarks, finding for the right link where you read this particular thought, end up not finding it and be as uneasy as hell in forgetting to bookmark that very nice piece of reading. What a pity. I hope I can still find it someday. As for now, here’s a substitue for my “journalists should’nt always be objective because it is in subjectivity that one creates a medium for all things positive,” thing like that thought. I think I read it on a review about elements of style, or a blog, or somewhere. AAAAAARGH! Please Lord, help me find it.
“So much for Objective Journalism. Don’t bother to look for it here–not under any byline of mine; or anyone else I can think of. With the possible exception of things like box scores, race results, and stock market tabulations, there is no such thing as Objective Journalism. The phrase itself is a pompous contradiction in terms.”
