Juan: How’s the interview?
Jane: *did not even looked at Juan to answer. not in the mood to answer anything related to her job hunting*
Juan: Hey. What happened? Why are you not answering?
Jane: You have the right to freedom of expression while I also have the right to remain silent.
Juan: WHAAAAAAT?

At some point, this conversation might look like a funny joke but viewing it from a different angle, it would seem like Jane is using her Mean Girls skills to indirectly tell that she’s not in the mood to say anything.
The whole scenario can change into something more comic if Jane responds after noticing Juan’s reaction:
Jane: Just kidding. You know, I’m not in the mood to talk about it right now. Let’s just talk about it later.
After Jane said that line, Juan may now have an idea as to why Jane reasoned out like that earlier was just an outburst ofher emotio and that she did a nice comeback by saying that it’s a joke even if it is not, well, it is half-meant.
People can be mean sometimes, if the situation is becoming very stressful. But as much as possible, if you’re the one having the bad mood that day, try your best not to be mean because you’re not the only person who has problems. So practice being nice, and always smile because you never know who’s life you’re influencing with that smile in your face.

Some thoughts I have while on my way home, riding a bus full of passengers.
