hi silencing. Thanks for reading my blog. I haven’t traveled that much to the various beautiful places here in the Philippines yet because I don’t have the luxury of time and money but I recently wrote about a place here in Manila, the Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa. The stay there is expensive but I tell you, there are a lot of other places here to enjoy with a more affordable budget. I’ll soon write a blog about the wonderful places which might appeal to your senses so i’ll just update you.
I’ve only spent a short amount of time in the Philippines but its clear to me it’s an amazing country. Anyway, I just stopped by because I’m browsing blogs about filipino life and found your blog through google. If you can share any tips on places to try while in Manila then I would really love to hear them. Happy Holy Week!

Why do people keep on hurting the ones they love?
Why can’t we just love one another and stop fighting about every single thing?
If love is the reason why these things happen, I’m pretty sure that love will also be the reason to make things right again.
I know nothing about love.
But I think I can feel love.
Love is like a roller coaster ride. There are some ups and downs. It gives so much happiness but sometimes, it can also give a sudden outburst of the stomach.
Along the ride, you can choose to go alone or with someone. But sometimes, it is not really you who decides who will accompany you along the ride, it is the master planner.
If you were given a partner, most of the time, it would be a one sided affair. The one loves to ride the roller coaster while the other doesn’t. I think the compatibility of both of you liking the situation you are in is just little and sometimes, it takes a long time for you to have that person you’ve been waiting for all your life. The one who will sit side by side with you in the ups and downs of the ride and not leave you till the end.
Time is essential. You could either patiently wait for the one or be bored as hell and forget about it. But either way, I am sure that the right person will sooner or later come and join you in the ride and both of you will share all the moments in that ride, whether it’s happy or not, you’ll make it a point to end the ride like what the fairytale always says, happily ever after.
For now, I will just keep on hoping for that day to come.
Someone asked me this very thought provoking question in formspring. It left me thinking for an answer for about 15 minutes so I asked my friends about it and I was shocked to know their answer in just a snap.

Kanina, nag-away kami ni Lola dahil sa di gaanonong kagandahan na pagkakatahi ng modista sa blouse uniform ko. Dahil sa pagkakamali ng iba, nag-away kami.
Lumalim ang away. Bumalik ang anino ng nakaraan. Nakakainis mang isipin pero laging bumabalik ang kahapon sa kasalukuyan.
Dahil sa pag-aaway na ito, nasabi saken ni Lola na wala naman siyang kasalanan sa mga ginawa sakeng kasalanan ng sarili kong kapamilya. Kung tutuusin, siya pa nga ang nagligtas at nagsalba at tumulong sa akin mula sa mga pagkalugmok na iyon.
Doon ko na-realize na tama nga naman siya. Si Lola, sa lahat ng tao, ang pinaka-nagmamahal ng tapat sa akin, pinaka-nag-aruga sa akin, pinaka-nagtitiwala sa akin.
Katulad ng pagpapagawa niya ng uniform saken, sabi nga niya, “alam kong hindi mo hiningi ang bagong uniform, ang sakin lang, syempre gusto ko na maganda din ang suot mo.”
Habang umiiyak ako sa kwarto ko, naisip ko ang mga bagay na ito. Minsan hindi natin napapansin ang ibig sabihin ng mga simpleng kilos ng mga taong nakapaligid sa atin. Maaaring napapansin natin ito, pero hindi natin ito nabibigyan ng tamang kahulugan.
Dito sa pagkakataong ito, napatunayan kong muli kung gano katindi ang pagmamahal sa akin ng Lola ko. Ang pagmamahal na iyon, na hindi ko dapat sayangin. Ang pagmamahal na iyon, na dapat kong suklian.
